1 GHz LOW NOISE FREQUENCY SYNTHESIZER
The LNFS-1G is a Low Noise Frequency Synthesizer with outputs up to 1 GHz. It is designed for ultra low phase noise, for frequency outputs from DC to 1 GHz. The LNFS-1G features eight independent synthesizer modules. Each module can be independently controlled, however the synthesizers are phase coherent. Frequency, phase, and amplitude can be adjusted on all synthesizers. The LNFS-1G also supports a high resolution mode that allows the frequency to be set with precision better than 1 nHz. The LNFS-1G can be locked to its internal reference providing high stability without external references. Alternatively, the LNFS can be put into external reference mode, and be locked to an external 100 MHz reference signal. The LNFS-1G is available in a 2U 19-inch rackmount enclosure and runs on AC power. The the instrument features monitoring and control, using the front panel touch screen interface, or remotely using a serial or ethernet connection.
