LOW NOISE FREQUENCY CONVERTER
The FC-250-10P is a Low Noise Frequency Converter for Optical to RF Signals. The instrument may be used to generate signals at 10 MHz, 100 MHz and 1 PPS that derive their excellent phase noise and stability from an external 800-1650 nm pulsed optical signal with a repetition rate of 250 MHz. The 10 MHz output is provided with a power level of +12 +/- 1 dBm and the 100 MHz output with a power level of +8 +/- 1 dBm. The 1PPS output provides a TTL, one pulse per second signal with pulse width of 8 ns for an unsynchronized signal and 512 μs for a synchronized signal. The instrument is housed in a 2U, half rack enclosure and operates with 100-240 VAC, 47-63 Hz power source.
